  • Samples from the collection point to the laboratory

    An 18–24 l passive cool box with flat ice packs. The KAMAI CB 24 l weighs 1.5 kg and has room in the lid for 2 flat 200 g ice packs.

  • Medicines and vaccines between the pharmacy and the ward

    For a longer journey by car, take a 12 V electric cool box. The KAMAI CB 22 l cools to 20 °C below ambient temperature.

  • Mobile collection points and vaccination drives

    The 30 l cool box runs off the 12 V socket in your car. For larger cool boxes there is a 700 g cooling mat measuring 38 × 25.5 cm.

    One set of ice packs cools on the road while the other freezes in the freezer. The 400 g ice pack is packed in 40s, but from stock you can order fewer.

01What temperature do the ice packs maintain?

You freeze the ice pack in a freezer and place it in a passive cool box or bag. [DO EDYCJI]. For medicines with a required temperature range, monitor it with a thermometer or a data logger.

02How long does a cool box stay cold?

That depends on the model, the number of ice packs, the ambient temperature and how often you open the lid. [DO EDYCJI].

03What cool box sizes do you offer?

Passive cool boxes for ice packs range from 8 to 60 l, and 12 V electric cool boxes from 10 to 30 l. The full list of models is in the KAMAI Coolbox catalogue.

04How do I clean the cool boxes and ice packs?
