Why the tree stands firm

Every START and SELECT model has these features. You can use them in your product description.

  • Self-tightening hooks

    The self-tightening hooks adjust to trunks of 3–17 cm in diameter, depending on the model. No need to trim the trunk as you would with a screw-type stand.

  • Centre spike and weighted base

    A steel spike centres the trunk, and the weighted body does not tip under the weight of the decorations.

  • Pedal lock

    Once tightened, you lock the pedal so the stand cannot open by accident. Important wherever there are children, pets or crowds.

  • 2–6.3 l reservoir with float

    The float shows when to top up the water. SELECT 3.5 and 4.5 also have an LED indicator.

  • Frost and damp resistant

    Steel, polypropylene and ABS. You can place the stand indoors, in a lobby or outside, for example in front of a church.

  • 5-year warranty and TÜV Thüringen

    TÜV Thüringen has confirmed the reliability of the stands and tested them for harmful substances. The stands comply with EU standards.

    Release the pedal. The hooks move apart and make room for the trunk.

    02Insert the tree

    Place the trunk on the central steel spike. There is no need to trim the trunk.

    03Press the pedal

    3–4 presses with your foot tension the cable. The hooks grip the trunk from every side.

    Slide the lock on the pedal: the green arrow means open, the red padlock means secured.

Water reservoir and float

The reservoir holds 2 to 6.3 l, depending on the model. The float shows when to top up the water.

  1. 01Pour water into the opening where the trunk stands.
  2. 02The float rises. When you can see the red part, there is enough water.
  3. 03The tree drinks constantly. When the float drops, top up the water. SELECT also has an LED indicator.

  • Trees 3.5–4.5 mSELECT 4.5 holds a tree up to 4.5 m with a trunk up to 17 cm. It has a 6.3 l reservoir and an LED water-level indicator.
  • Stability in the naveThe hooks grip the trunk from every side, and the lock stops the pedal opening by accident, even during a procession or Midnight Mass.
  • One person tightens the hooksJust press the pedal with your foot. There is no need to trim the trunk or weigh it down with stones, so the sacristan and volunteers can manage on their own.

01Is there a minimum order?

No, not when you order from stock. You do not have to take full outer cartons or pallets, and parishes and institutions order as little as a single stand. You can order in the B2B panel, by phone or by e‑mail; wholesale prices are shown once you log in to the B2B panel.

02Can I combine models and colours on one pallet?

Yes. On a MIX pallet you can combine START and SELECT models, both colours and other products from our range. This lowers the transport cost.

03When should I order stands for the season?

Order from stock by 12:00 on a working day and we usually ship the same day. It is best to order before the season; for several pallets, agree a date with a sales representative and we will fit it to your schedule.

04What colours do the stands come in?

START 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 are available in green or anthracite. SELECT 3.5 and 4.5 also in green and anthracite. You can combine colours on one pallet.

05How do I choose the model for the tree height?

START 2.0 for a 2 m tree, START 2.5 up to 2.5 m, START 3.0 up to 3 m, SELECT 3.5 up to 3.5 m and SELECT 4.5 up to 4.5 m. Check the trunk diameter in the comparison table too.

06Will the stand hold a crooked or thick trunk?

Yes. The hooks tighten from every side at the same time, so the tree stands straight even with an uneven trunk. For trunks thicker than 14 cm, choose SELECT 4.5 (trunk 5–17 cm).

07How do I know when to top up the water?

Every stand has a float: when you can see the red part, there is enough water. SELECT 3.5 and 4.5 also have an LED indicator.

08Can the stand be used outdoors?

Yes. The stands are made of polypropylene, ABS and steel and are resistant to frost and damp. They work well in front of a church, at a shopping centre entrance and in the square outside a public office.

09What is the warranty and how do I make a claim?

Every KAMAI stand comes with a 5-year warranty. You can make a warranty claim by phone (+48 12 307 28 21) or at biuro@kamai.pl.

10How do I store the stand after the season?

Pour out the water, dry the reservoir and release the pedal. Store the stand in a dry place, ideally in its box. It will serve you for many seasons to come.

11Which languages is the stand catalogue available in?

14How does STELLAR differ from START and SELECT?

STELLAR has a different mechanism: a foot pedal tightens 5 hooks on a trunk of 3.5–14 cm, and you choose interchangeable legs to match your decorations. It suits trees up to 2.8 m, and the 1.5 L reservoir sits next to the tree. See the STELLAR section above for details.
