History of Thermoplast®

The Thermoplast company was established in 1989 in Libiąż as a Polish-Swiss joint venture. Thermoplast initially benefited from world-class Swiss and Austrian consultancy in the field of the production of plastic window joinery, extrusion of profiles and the construction and construction of extrusion tools. In 1993, the Tool Building Department started working.

In 1999, Thermoplast was among the first Polish companies to implement a Quality Management System compliant with the PN ISO 9001 standard.

At the same time, the production of furniture profiles and technical profiles for industry, which were extruded from various polymer materials, was intensively developed. In 2004, a new production hall was put into use.

Thermoplast has for many years been a leader in the production of windows from its own, innovative PVC extrusion window profile systems. In 2011, the production of windows was discontinued.

On 24 production lines, we extrude profiles using 15 types of the highest quality plastics, including PVC, PS, PP, PA, PC, ABS, ASA, PE, PMMA. We can produce 50.000.000 running meters of profiles and process 12.000.000 kg of plastics per year.

Our company has implemented a comprehensive production process management program based on the Lean Manufacturing concept, and the 5S principles apply in all departments of the company. Thermoplast is a certified company according to ISO 9001 quality management standards and ISO 14001 environmental management standards. We actively contribute to environmental protection through maximum use of plastic recycling and minimum energy consumption.
